Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board Retracts Weight Loss Claims

In a move that was predicted but still managed to startle many consumers, the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, has retracted its claims regarding its milk being an aide to weight loss. This was after consumers as well as critics blamed the campaign as misleading and deceptive – which led to the Board being questioned by members of the city council, after which they decided to let go of the campaign altogether.

While the whole episode shows the Wisconsin Milk Board in a dark light, it has also brought to the fore the case of misleading and often scam-based products that tend to promise weight loss but never delivers anything to the average consumer apart from ailments and side effects!

So when you are off surfing the web for some weight management solutions, know the right procedures to parse the bad products from the genuine ones. Apart from the tell-tale FDA approval and endorsement of health organizations, one should also look for testimonials from average consumers – ones that have actually used the products and have enjoyed the results!

The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is just another example of how scams and inferior product marketing through viral platforms is not just restricted to smaller start-ups and individual gains.

If you are looking to get weight loss products and appetite suppressants like the pure hoodia extract everyone is talking about, ensure that you know the right sources to buy them from!

Do you agree with the points here?!
